American Lighting DEC-DMX-SPI Decoder — Pixel Addressing & Sequencing for Pixel Tape and Neon

The American Lighting DEC-DMX-SPI Decoder allows for pixel addressing or sequencing of pixel tape light. Pair with DMX512 controllers or compatible DMX software programs to create dynamic and unique chasing or color fading effects. Features a built-in OLED display and function keys for on-device configuration — no computer required for basic setup.

Key Features

  • SPI Signal Output: Provides SPI signal output for pixel tape and pixel neon addressing and sequencing.
  • DMX512 Input: Pairs with DMX512 controllers — supports up to 38 protocols.
  • Pixel Capacity: Capable of addressing up to 1020 pixel LEDs (510 RGB channels / 512 RGBW channels).
  • Built-In Sequencing: Features built-in sequencing, chasing, and color changing settings with 16 selectable effects.
  • OLED Display: On-board OLED display for real-time configuration of DMX address, chip type, RGB sequence, and pixel multiple.
  • Self-Testing Interface: Built-in self-testing mode with 16 effects and 16 speed levels for 3CH (RGB) and 4CH (RGBW) configurations.
  • PC Compatible: Compatible with PC interface DMX consoles and software.
  • Wide Voltage Range: Requires 5-24V DC constant voltage power input, 0.2A maximum input current.
  • RDM Support: Features DMX/RDM signal input and output connections.
  • IP Rating: IP20 — suitable for dry indoor applications.
  • Operating Temperature: -30°C (-22°F) to 55°C (131°F).
